‘Midday Adventures’ to shine in India

Fajr Filmfest top movie ‘Midday Adventures’ by Iran director Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian is set to go on screen at the International Film Festival of India, Goa.

The film is slated to compete in the festival’s 48th edition held on November 20-28, 2017, specifically in the Cinema of the World section.

 ‘Midday Adventures’ is a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocity of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s.

“Being stranded and puzzled in volatile Tehran neighborhoods, in the winding streets, alleyways and inside homes; is there an end in sight to such hunt?” the film’s synopsis reads.

‘Midday Adventures’ has bagged 4 Simorgh awards -- namely, the Audience Choice, Best Scenic Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Film with National View.

The movie features Mehrdad Seddiqian, Ahmad Mehranfar, Hadi Hejazifar, Mehdi Zaminpardaz, Mahya Dehqani, Linda Kiani, Hossein Mehri, and Javad Ezzati.
